According to the Public Relations of Yazd Seyed Al-Shohada Hospital, Dr. Mahdi HaddadZade Niri, a cardiothoracic surgeon and valve repair fellowship, mentioned: Yazd Seyed Al-Shohada Hospital has a 2-decade background in cardiovascular surgeries. Nevertheless, it was possible to conduct complicated congenital cardiac surgeries.
He added: Fortunately, with the provision of advanced equipment and facilities, and using the experiences of our successful team of staff, we managed to conduct the complex Fallot tetralogy surgery.
He explained: Fallot tetralogy is one of the most important congenital cardiac diseases. There are four concurrent important heart defects in these patients.
He expressed his hope that we have further surgeries in the hospital for such congenital diseases, particularly among neonates.
