Yazd Sayed Al-Shohada (SSH) Specialty and Subspecialty Hospital was established in 1971. With a history of over a half-century, this therapeutic center is one of the general hospitals in Yazd Province, which provides various healthcare services. This hospital offers patients 178 beds, numerous wards, operation rooms, special services wards, clinics, emergency departments, and different paraclinical services.

This hospital is one of the superior hospitals in terms of accreditation of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Iran; namely this hospital has been constantly introduced as a first-class hospital during the past decade. Moreover, this hospital has been recognized as the premier hospital encouraging natural delivery and a child-friendly hospital.
